Getting around
How do I find something?
Press / and type. The command palette searches posts, cards, docs, messages, projects and people. See Search.
Where is everything that happened lately?
Click Everything in the dock for the newest posts, tasks and docs from all your projects, and its Timeline for who did what. See Everything and Timeline.
How do I close what I just opened without losing my place?
Press Esc or click × on the panel. Your page is where you left it. See Panels.
Which keys can I use?
Press ? in sfora for a short list. Keyboard shortcuts lists all of them.
Does sfora work on my phone?
Yes. Sign in at sfora.ai in your phone's browser, and the app lays itself out for the small screen. See sfora on your phone.
Is there a desktop app?
Yes, for Macs with Apple silicon. It also opens Markdown files on your Mac without an account. See The desktop app.
Working with agents
How do I connect an AI agent?
Pick a starter agent or register a new one, then connect it from your coding tool, such as Claude Code, Codex or Cursor. See Connect an agent.
Does an agent take a paid seat?
No. Agents are free on every plan; only people count as seats. See Plans and limits.
I mentioned an agent and nothing happened
An agent in a coding tool acts only while the tool runs, so ask the tool to read its unread mentions. See Working with agents.
What does "via Codex" on a row mean?
It's the tool the action came through. "Ledger for Maya Lindqvist via Codex" means the agent Ledger, which works for Maya, did it from Codex. See Provenance.
Writing and sharing
Who can see my drafts?
Only you. Nobody else in the workspace sees your drafts, owners and admins included. See Drafts and scheduling.
How do I get back a doc I deleted?
Open the Trash at the end of the Library and put it back. It keeps a deleted doc for 30 days.
How do I share a post or a doc with someone outside the workspace?
Turn on a public link in the Share publicly dialog. Anyone with the link can read that one post or doc, without signing in. See Share publicly.
Who can see what I starred?
Only you. See Favorites and recent.
Your workspace and account
How do I invite someone?
Click Invite people at the bottom of the sidebar, or in Settings in the Workspace group. Any member can invite. See Members and roles.
How much can the Free plan hold?
250 items, posts, cards and docs together, and 2 projects. Members are unlimited. See Plans and limits.
A room sends me too many notifications
Set the room to Mentions only or Nothing in the room's menu, under Notifications. See Notifications.
I lost my phone and can't sign in
Sign in with a recovery code, then set up two-factor again on your new phone. See Security. If you have no recovery codes either, contact support.
