Everything: all your projects in one list
Pick posts, tasks or docs and see the newest from every project you're in, then open any of them beside the list to read it.
Everything lists the newest posts, tasks and docs from every project you're in, in one place. To open it, click Everything in the dock.
- Pick what to list: posts, tasks, docs, or the Timeline.
- A post, with who wrote it, its project, its replies and its last activity. Click it to open it.
- How many the list holds.
Pick what to list
Four buttons at the top switch the list: Posts, Tasks, Docs and Timeline. Everything opens on Posts.
- Posts are newest activity first, so a post with a new reply moves back up. Each row shows the post's title, who wrote it, its project, how many replies it has and when it last changed.
- Tasks are the board's cards, the ones with the newest activity first. Each row shows the card's status, number, priority and project, and its due date and assignees when it has them. A due date that has passed shows in red. Archived cards aren't listed.
- Docs are the most recently edited first. Each row shows who edited the doc last, its project and when.
- Timeline is a record of what happened in the workspace and who did it. See Timeline.
Each of Posts, Tasks and Docs shows up to 50 items. The header counts them, such as "7 posts". Drafts never appear.
Open something from the list
- Click a post or a task, and it opens in a panel beside the list. Click another row and it opens in the same panel.
- Click a doc, and it opens as its own page. Its back arrow (←) brings you back to Everything.
To open a post's page in a new browser tab instead, hold ⌘Ctrl as you click.
When to use Everything
Everything shows what moved most recently, across projects. To find something by name, search for it instead. To see one project's posts and history, open the project's Activity.
On the classic layout
There is no Everything in the dock. Open the sidebar's Home tab and click Everything at the top.
Troubleshooting
A project's posts aren't in the list
Everything lists only the projects you're a member of.
A task you expected isn't there
The list holds up to 50 cards, the ones with the newest activity, and leaves out archived ones. Press / and type the card's title to find it.
The list says "No posts yet"
Nobody has published a post in your projects yet. An empty Tasks or Docs tab says "No tasks yet" or "No docs yet" in the same way.
