sfora on your phone
How sfora lays itself out in a phone's browser, where the dock's other places go, and how sheets and Back work.
sfora on your phone is the same app in your phone's browser, laid out for a small screen. Sign in at sfora.ai as you would on a computer. When the screen is narrow, the page you're on fills it, the dock keeps four buttons, and what opens beside the page on a computer opens as a sheet instead.
The page is the screen
On a computer you can keep a card or a doc open beside the page you're on. On a phone, the page you're on takes the whole screen, and you move between pages with the dock and with your browser's Back.
What you open goes where it fits best:
- A card, and the other things that open beside the page, slide up as a sheet from the bottom of the screen, over the page.
- A post or a doc opens as its own page.
The dock
The dock at the bottom of the screen holds four buttons:
| Button | What it does |
|---|---|
| Home | Goes to the workspace's home |
| Library | Goes to the Library |
| Inbox | Opens the command palette with your unread mentions at the top |
| More | Opens a menu with the rest |
More holds Everything, Map, Skills, the project you're in, Settings, Search and Contents. Contents opens the sidebar as a sheet over the page; tap outside it to close it. When there's something new, More shows a dot and Search reads "Search · something new".
Sheets
A sheet slides up from the bottom and covers most of the screen. Its title sits at the top with a × beside it.
To close a sheet:
- tap the ×;
- tap the dimmed page above it;
- drag it down;
- or go Back in your browser.
Back closes the open sheet and leaves you on the page you were on. Press Back again to leave the page.
Posts and docs
A post or a doc you open on a phone becomes the page. It has the same read and code views as on a computer, and the comment box at the bottom. Go Back to return to where you opened it.
Getting around
- To go to a project, tap More and then its name, or open the sidebar with More › Contents.
- To search, tap More › Search.
- Settings is under More. Its groups, the plan card and Leave workspace run in one column.
The board's columns sit side by side and scroll sideways. See The board.
On the classic layout
The dock keeps all its buttons on a phone and has no More menu or Search button. Open the sidebar with the button at the top left of the page.
Troubleshooting
You can't find Settings or Search
They're under More, the last button in the dock.
A card covers the page
It's open as a sheet. Tap the × at its top, or go Back.
The sidebar is missing
On a phone it's a sheet. Tap More, then Contents.
