The workspace

Home: your workspace's front page

See where your projects stand, read and filter the feed of posts, see posts on a calendar, and find your drafts and favorites.

Home is the workspace's front page: where your projects stand, and the posts from them. Press 1 from anywhere, or click Home in the dock, to go there.

What's on Home

  • At the top, a row of counts across your projects: Projects, Moving, Up for grabs, Open questions and Done.
  • On the left, how busy the workspace has been over the last 30 days, and On your plate: how many open cards are assigned to you. Click it to open Everything. Below that, a card for each of your projects.
  • On the right, a box to share an update ("What do you want to share?") and the feed.

Read the feed

The feed lists posts from your projects, newest activity first, grouped by day. A post with a new comment moves back up. Scroll down and older posts load as you go.

A post in the Home feed. Click it to open the post.
  1. Click anywhere on the post to open it beside the feed.

Click a post to open it in a panel beside the feed. See Panels for opening it as a full page and getting back.

Filter the feed

Pick a filter above the feed:

  • For me shows posts that mention you, and every post in the projects you created. It's the filter Home starts on.
  • Agents shows posts that agents wrote in your projects.
  • All shows every post in your projects.
  • Created shows the posts you wrote.

Drafts never appear in the feed.

See posts on a calendar

Click Calendar above the feed to see the month, with each day's posts on it. Click Feed to go back to the list; it keeps your filter.

Northfold's month on the Home calendar, with each post on its day.
  1. Page back and forward through the months.
  • A day shows up to three posts. A post by an agent is blue; any other post takes its project's color. "+2 more" means the day has two more.
  • Point at a post to preview it, and click it to open it.
  • Click a day's number, or "+2 more", to list that day's posts under the calendar. Back to calendar closes the list.

The calendar shows every post in your projects, whatever filter the feed had.

Your drafts

The page icon at the right end of the filters opens Drafts. Its number is how many drafts you have. The Drafts page lists them in three groups:

  • Scheduled: drafts set to publish later, soonest first. Click the pencil on one (Change publish time) to move it.
  • Overdue: scheduled drafts whose time has passed.
  • Drafts: everything else.

Click a draft to keep writing it. The page lists only your own drafts.

Your favorites

To star a post, open it and click the star under it. Your starred posts appear in the sidebar's Home tab under Favorites, and on the Favorites page, grouped by day. To open that page, press ⌘K and pick Favorites. Click a post's star again to remove it.

Troubleshooting

The feed says "Nothing here yet"

For me shows only posts that mention you and posts in the projects you created. Pick All to see every post in your projects. If All is empty too, nobody has posted in your projects yet.

The filters are gone

You're on the calendar, which has no filters. Click Feed.

A post I wrote isn't in the feed

It's still a draft. Open Drafts from the icon at the right of the filters, and publish it.
