Appearance
Choose a light or dark theme, how tightly a project's feed is packed, and the size of the text, in the Options group of Settings.
Appearance is how sfora looks to you: light or dark, how tightly a project's feed is packed, and how big the text is. You set it in Settings, in the Options group. These choices are yours alone. sfora keeps your theme and feed density in this browser, so another computer or browser starts from the defaults.
- Theme: light, dark, or Auto to follow your device.
- Feed density for a project's Activity feed.
- Font size: the size of sfora's text.
Change the theme
Press 7, or click Settings in the dock.
Scroll to Options and find Theme.
Pick Light, Dark or Auto. Auto follows your computer's or phone's setting. The change is immediate.
The theme is also in the menu at the bottom of the sidebar: click your name, then Theme, and pick Light, Dark or System. System there is the same as Auto.
Change the feed density
Feed density sets how a project's Activity feed shows its posts:
- Cozy shows each post as a full card, with space between them. It's the default.
- Compact packs each day's posts into tighter rows.
You can also change it from a project's Activity: click Display options at the top and pick Comfortable or Compact. Comfortable there is the same as Cozy.
Change the font size
Font size has three sizes: S, M and L. M is the default. Pick one, and sfora's text changes to that size across the app.
The new layout
This manual describes the new layout: the sidebar that opens from the dock, panels beside your page, and the dock along the bottom. It's still a preview.
Pages in this manual add an On the classic layout note wherever the classic layout differs.
Troubleshooting
The theme changed on another computer
The theme is kept in each browser. Set it again in Settings on that computer.
Display options says Comfortable, not Cozy
They're the same setting under two names. Comfortable in a project's Display options is Cozy in Settings, and picking one changes the other.
