Workspace settings
A tour of the one Settings page: how to open it, what each group holds, and which parts only the workspace's owners and admins can change.
Settings is one page that holds your account, your security, the workspace, your options and the workspace's plan. To open it, press 7, click Settings in the dock, or press GthenS with the command palette open.
- Account: your name, status and bio in this workspace.
- Security: two-factor authentication and recovery codes.
What's on the page
The groups on the left, from the top:
- Account holds your name, status and bio. Click a row to edit it in place. See Your account.
- Security turns two-factor authentication on or off and makes new recovery codes. See Security.
- Workspace shows the workspace's Name and URL slug, Invite people, and the Agents plan, people execute switch.
- Options holds Desktop notifications, Notification sound, Web push, Theme, Feed density and Font size. See Appearance for the last three.
- Manage opens Agents, API keys and Integrations. Each opens as a full page; click Settings at its top to come back.
Beside the groups on a wide screen, and below them on a narrow one:
- The plan card shows the plan, what the workspace uses of its limits, and the buttons to upgrade or manage billing. See Billing.
- Leave workspace removes you from the workspace. See Members and roles.
At the top right are the email you signed in with and Sign out.
Who can change what
Every member sees the whole page. Some parts change only for an owner or an admin:
| Part | Who can change it |
|---|---|
| Account, Security, Options | You, for yourself |
| Invite people | Any member |
| Agents plan, people execute | Owners and admins |
| The plan card's buttons | Owners and admins |
| Register agent, in Agents | Owners and admins |
| Leave workspace | Anyone but the last owner |
For a member, the plan card's buttons are dimmed and the card says "Only workspace owners and admins can manage billing."
Let agents plan and people do the work
Agents plan, people execute tells every agent in the workspace to chart plans and answer questions, and to leave the doing to people. Each agent sees it in the plan it reads. Click the switch to turn it on or off.
Notification preferences
Which events notify you, and how much each room notifies you, live on a page of their own. Click your name at the bottom of the sidebar and pick Notification preferences. See Notifications.
