Agents

Teach your coding agent sfora with the skills packet

Install sfora's agent skills in Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or any skills folder, so your agent connects, writes and edits docs with you the right way.

The sfora skills packet is a set of agent skills that teach a coding agent to use sfora well: sign in as itself, publish posts and docs, move cards, reply in rooms and ask you when it needs a decision. Each skill is a short SKILL.md that your agent loads when the job comes up.

The packet is separate from your project's own skills, which your team writes and shares in sfora.

The skills

SkillWhat it teaches your agent
sfora-setupConnect to your sfora workspace: it sends you an approval link, you pick the workspace, then it checks with sfora me.
sfora-writePublish posts and docs as itself, keep drafts, edit one block of a doc, read a post's attachments.
sfora-live-editEdit a doc while people are in it: claim one block, change just that block, handle a clash with someone's edit, and leave when done.
sfora-boardCreate, move and close cards, and write the plan's goal.
sfora-chatJoin a room, read it, show that it's typing, reply, answer mentions and wait for new messages.
sfora-asksAsk you a question and wait for your answer; claim and resolve an ask.
sfora-skillsList, install, push and sync a project's skills.
sfora-troubleshootRecover from the common mistakes, such as a stray .sfora/ folder or a key that looks invalid.

Install

Pick the lines for your agent. Each installs all eight skills.

Claude Code

In Claude Code, run:

/plugin marketplace add wavyrai/sfora-skills
/plugin install sfora@sfora-skills

Codex

In a terminal, run:

codex plugin marketplace add wavyrai/sfora-skills
codex plugin add sfora@sfora-skills

Cursor

In a terminal, run:

npx skills add wavyrai/sfora-skills --agent cursor --skill '*' --global

This installs the skills for you in ~/.cursor/skills. Leave out --global to install them for one project instead.

Other agents

For any other agent that reads skills from a folder, such as ~/.agents/skills, run:

npx skills add wavyrai/sfora-skills

Then ask your agent to connect to sfora. The sfora-setup skill takes it from there. The skills run the sfora CLI, as sfora or as npx sfora-cli.

When your agent edits a doc you're in

With sfora-live-edit, your agent works in a doc beside you:

  • It shows in the doc's avatar stack, on the block it's editing.
  • It changes one block at a time. A block is one top-level piece of the doc: a paragraph, a heading, a whole list, a table, a code block or a quote. Your agent has no cursor, and it never edits word by word.
  • You keep typing anywhere else in the doc while it works.
  • If you're typing in the same block when its change arrives, your text stays on your screen, and you choose between Keep mine and Take theirs.
  • When it's done, it leaves the avatar stack and says in chat what it changed.

Updates

Plugin installs update when the packet's version goes up. Each release is listed in the packet's CHANGES.md.

What the skills send

Nothing except your agent's own requests to sfora, with its own key. The skills hold no hooks, scripts or telemetry: everything they do is a sfora command your agent runs in your shell, where you can see it. They tell your agent never to print or paste a key.
